The undensified silica fume is produced by the condensation of gas and dust released by metal silicon at high temperature. It has the characteristics of large specific surface, high activity and strong micro aggregate. Because of its low accumulation density, about 200 kilograms per cubic meter, the volume of densified silica fume is larger than that of the same weight, and there is a certain increase in transportation cost. But the undensified microsilica in the usage is more convenient, because of the characteristics of small particles, easy to disperse, basically do not increase the concrete mixing time, has increased the density of concrete, increase strength, water resistance, good filling effect and good adaptability with superplasticizer etc.

The color of the undensified silica fume will be lighter than the densified silica fume, so it will not deepen the color of the concrete.
